Travel Itinerary
The First Day - Embarking on a Wildlife Expedition at Tarangire National Park
Today, you will be greeted by our safari guide either at Kilimanjaro airport or your accommodation for the start of your adventure. Once you meet your driver, the journey to Tarangire National Park will begin, which is approximately a 2-hour drive away. This marks the beginning of your exciting safari experience where you may encounter a variety of wildlife, including elephants and different lion prides. A delicious lunch will be served during the day, followed by more safari activities. Later in the evening, you will be taken to Kankari Lodge where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.
The Second Day - Exploring the Ngorongoro Crater on a Safari
For a memorable day, start your journey early from the hotel to catch a glimpse of wildlife active during the morning hours. Indulge in meals amidst the breathtaking scenery of the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. Depart at 6:30 am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and within an hour, you'll be exploring the crater. Known for its rich biodiversity, Ngorongoro is a standout in Tanzania's national parks, offering a high concentration of diverse animal species. Keep an eye out for buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and elusive felines like Caracals and Servals. With luck, you may even spot the elusive black rhinos that seek refuge here. Enjoy lunch at the picnic site and continue your safari adventure. As the sun sets, conclude your safari and head back to Kankari Lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.
The Third Day - Exploring Lake Manyara National Park on a Safari and Returning to the Bustling Town of Arusha
Following the check out, you will enjoy an early breakfast and receive a packed lunch before setting off to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting full-day safari adventure. Despite its relatively small size of 205 square miles, the park boasts stunning landscapes and is renowned for its dense acacia forest, majestic figs, and mahogany trees. It is also home to a growing community of baboons and blue monkeys. A break for lunch will be taken at the picnic area, followed by more game viewing until the late evening, when you will exit the park and head back to Arusha town. Our estimated return time to Arusha is approximately 4:00 pm, with flexibility for any flight schedules or unexpected circumstances.
