The First Day -
At 06:30am, we will meet you at your hotel in Arusha and embark on a journey to a remarkable national park. Tarangire stands out for its varied terrain featuring nine distinct vegetation zones. One of the park's highlights is the multitude of majestic baobab trees, the continent's largest, which dominate the scenery and tower over the wildlife. The park's river serves as a magnet for a diverse array of animals, from birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, notably, elephants. Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of elephants in the country, offering unique opportunities to witness the dynamics within elephant herds. During lunch, you can enjoy a captivating dining experience at an observatory overlooking the river and its resident wildlife. In the afternoon, we will continue exploring the park on a game drive before returning to Arusha between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. Our journey concludes as we drop you off at your hotel or residence.
