The First Day - Tarangire Wildlife Sanctuary (Abundance of Elephant Groups)
Upon your morning arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your guide will be there to greet you and kick off the journey to Tarangire National Park. A private 4x4 safari vehicle will be your mode of transport as you venture into the park known for its diverse wildlife and impressive elephant populations. The park's scenery varies from seasonal swamps to vast savannahs, all with the Tarangire River meandering through its terrain. Keep an eye out for lions on the hunt or leopards lounging in the tree canopies. Following the exhilarating game drive, you will head back to your lodge for a relaxing evening, complete with dinner and overnight stay. Following a delightful breakfast at 7:30 am, the journey will commence towards Lake Manyara National Park. Once the game drive is completed, transportation will be arranged to either Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, depending on your onward travel destination. Lake Manyara is renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions lounging in the branches. Additionally, the park is inhabited by migratory flamingos and large troops of baboons that often line the roads as you make your entry. Anticipate reaching Kilimanjaro Airport by approximately 4:00 pm, with flexibility in timing to accommodate your departure schedule and future plans.
